Lapierre Overvolt, Mountain Ebikes
The Lapierre Overvolt has been designed to mix high end mountain bike design with the electric bike system, and they have done a great job of it just by looking at it you can tell this is a bike of quality.
Being a mountain bike at heart, I wanted to test this bike on some tough terrain and what a great ride it turned out to be. The full suspension system absorbs the bumps effortlessly and with the Scwalbe tires you can ride in confidence knowing that the bike will grip and hold well. The 400W Battery provided consistent power when needing the assistance and had no problems on climbing the steeper hills. The combination of all this allows you to enjoy the surroundings and have a really fun ride.
It is hard to find any faults with this bike but with its price tag ranging from £2999.99 – £3849.99 it is an expensive bike by anyone’s standards so unless you are an avid mountain biker, personally I feel some current e-bikes on the market will perform just as well at a cheaper price.
