What buyer’s says about electric bikes …

Works a treat.

The Thompson euro-classic 2,is a treat to ride.I have had mine a week, should of got it years before.Everything works, electric lights and horn.Easy to charge and cheap per mile. This is great value for money. It is heavier than a normal bike, but is smart and works well.Mine arrived early and good after sales. All in all its a great product.M.Cross

Fantastic quality and unbelivable value! (Cyclamatic FoldAway)

What more can I say! Half the price of most other electic bikes and manufactured to a good standard. As a professional engineer I can confirm that the level of design and manufacturing quality built into this bike is exceptional. Nearly every part is aluminium or stainless steel, except the mudguards. Pity that the gear shift is not epicyclic which would make it less vunerable to damage, but that’s nit-picking and at this price who’s quibbling!!!Joseph P W Baker

HILLS – WHAT HILLS?

After watching (on YouTube) the guy going up the hills at Cairngorms, I was hooked (and the music is good also) I am 74 yrs old, 16st and have not rode a bike for 40yrs. I bought the Pulse 3mths ago. I live at the top of a hill in a village surrounded by hills. 2 minutes from my door I am in the countryside so have ridden the bike along country lanes, through woods, old railway tracks and into Newcastle. I try to average 20miles and on this bike find it easy going especially the last hill to my front door when the motor kicks in and feels like a hand in the centre do my back urging me on. People get the wrong idea of electric bikes, they laugh and think you just sit there but after having a try they realise you have to pedal or it stops, so you are exercising. After looking at various bikes I find The Pulse is manufactured to an extremely high standard and the after sales follow up is very good. This bike is just BRILLIANTGeorge Jeffrey

Better than I expected (Cyclamatic Power Plus)

I’ve had the bike for a year now and cannot fault it. I bought it as I have chronic back pain and pedalling became too painful on my old bike. I always use it in ‘power mode’ so I can avoid pedalling, it’s fast and I’m rarely overtaken by regular bikes. I love it. Even my grand kids think it’s ‘cool’! This has to be one of the best things I’ve ever bought 🙂P. Jones, Cambridge

Alpine X what a bike

I have just purchased the Alpine X and what can i say it’s a superb bike, where i live there are lots of hill’s (Whitby north Yorkshire) this machine tears up them, the gear changing is effortless and the different power setting would cater for most people, i cannot recommend this bike enough, and the service from volt was outstanding especially Lyle who pointed me in the right direction, if your going to go the electric bike route give volt a ring you wont be disappointed.Joe Noble, Whitby

Helpful and patient

I tried few electric bike (Savile Electric Bike, Volt Burlington Electric Bike ect) in the shop before choosing Volt Metro (white), folding electric bike. The sales consultant was very helpful and patient. Thank you!Naomi Gillis, Southend-on-sea

Really pleased with my Volt Metro – a great folding bike. The guys at the shop are really helpful. Also got a Brooks rain cape from them (waterproof REALLY!!). Cycling in the rain is actually fun!James Rahman, Hounslow Middlesex

These guys have the best ebike collection in town! It was immensely hard to choose only 1 bike cause i loved them all. Took 2 of them for a test ride 🙂 Had so much fun. Finally chose The Volt Burlington – stunning unisex bike. Great work EBS!!Katherine G., Bournemouth

Authenticity of the quality

I used to bike a lot during university days, london transport took over followed by motorbike and car. 3 years ago, I developed cardiac arythmia which knocked the winds out of my sporty sails until late last year when after three operations and a very understanding cardiac consultant, Im now on the yellow brick road! I decided to maximise my exercise regime by biking to work. However I live on top of a hill in Brighton…Jek, Brighton
